Here at EK Burgh – health and wellbeing is one of our top priorities. Last week we hosted our first Burgh specialist First Aid course thanks to A.D Training and Development who ran the course.

17 coaches from 5 different age groups attended and gained their Sports First Aid Certificate. Well done to all involved in making it happen!

You may have heard through various channels … East Kilbride Burgh United have an application in with the local South Lanarkshire Council for a Community Asset Transfer of the Murray Recreation Area in EK.

Recently some of our valued players and coaches were involved in some community engagement and leaflet distribution in the local areas to drum up some support from local residents and businesses and drive our initiatives forward.

Decision pending soon in 2025 … watch this space!

Hi everyone, and welcome to the first post on East Kilbride Burgh’s brand-new website! We are delighted to have this space to share and grown. This is just the beginning, and there’s loads more to come as we build this space.

For those who might not know, East Kilbride Burgh has been part of the community since 1968. It’s one of the oldest clubs in town and has always been about giving people a chance to play football and be part of something special. Anthony, the club’s Chairman, has been involved with the club for over 30 years – first as a player and now as the guy leading the way. His passion for the club and its community really shows, and it’s inspiring to see what he’s helped build.

This site is very much a work in progress, and we’d love your input to help bring it to life! Whether you’re a player, a coach, or a fan, feel free to send us your stories, photos, or anything you’d like to share. It’s all about making this a space for everyone involved in the club.

I also want to give a big thank you to Coach Kim for all her hard work and support. She’s such an important part of what makes this club tick, and we’re lucky to have her.
